New to hydroponics and looking for information? When I started getting interested in hydroponics I had trouble finding good information that was easy to digest.

For the longest time, I had to gather bits of information on hydroponic gardening from here and there, and then see what I could put together. A lot of it was trial and error, all of which led me to create this website to help others looking to start their own hobby hydroponic garden.

As the hobby of hydroponics has grown in popularity, so has the availability of information on the topic. I believe the more information the better, so here are some other helpful resources to help you become a hydroponic expert!

Popular Hydropnics Books

Even with all the other sources of information, there’s nothing like sitting down with a good book. Check out this article on the 5 best books for hydroponic beginners.

Here are some of the top books for hydroponic beginners:

Hydroponic Basics

This is the first book I bought about hydroponics. It’s a great little book for beginners to let you know what to expect with having a hydroponic garden. It will explain the different system parts and some simple how-to’s. This is a super cheap book for those asking themselves, what is hydroponics, what does it entail, and is it for me?

How To Hydroponics

How-To Hydroponics is a classic hydroponics book packed with information. Several editions in, the author has gone back a few times and fine-tuned the book to update information and better explain where he can. This book is a different need to read for every hobby hydroponic gardener.

DIY Hydroponic Gardens

Just as it sounds, this book explains how-to make your own hydroponic garden. It covers different parts of a hydroponic garden, parts of a system, and simple how-to’s on getting your own garden started.

Websites

I’m kind of biased when it comes to websites. I’ve found there are not a lot of websites out there that present hydroponic gardening information in a simple easy to digest way.
